Ajaxian.com today has new information posted about a new framework that combines the C++ language with an API to generate Ajax-enabled applications - Wt.

Have you been wishing that you could code up a storm of Ajax with C++? Well, you are in luck with Wt: a web toolkit.
Wt (pronounce wit-ty), is a C++ library to develop web applications.

The API is widget-centric, and inspired by existing C++ Graphical User Interface APIs. To the developer, it offers complete abstraction of any web-specific implementation details.

They mention some of the advantages of the framework, including its ability to work with compiled C++ files, it's flexibility from platform to platform, and include support for "offline Ajax" in applications. There's a tutorial included on the site as well...
